Sandboarding Day Tour

Spend an action packed day learning how to carve up the sand dunes of Cape Town on a sandboard. Whether you are an absolute beginner or veteran board rider, you will experience an adrenalin rush guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Enjoy an exhilarating day carving up the Sand Dunes of Atlantis. The Atlantis Dunes are a mere 35 minutes from the Centre of Cape Town and offer a multitude of different runs to cater for absolute beginners to experienced sandboarders ensuring a fun filled, memorable day for all. We will pick you up (at about 09h30) and drop you off (at about 17h00) from where you are staying in one of our air conditioned vehicles. Your instructor will teach you how to sandboard using our easy to follow ABC Sandboarding Lesson. You will be able to control your speed by turning. You decide how fast you would like to go! We use specially manufactured sandboards which have been designed specifically for sand. A tasty picnic style lunch and refreshments will be served on the dunes. Please inform us of any special dietary requirements when booking your trip.

Sandboarding Lessons

Learn how to sandboard on the magnificent sand dunes of Cape Town. Sandboarding is an exciting new extreme sport which is easy to learn. It is similar to snowboarding but doesn’t require layers of clothing. Our expert instructors will have you flying across the sand in no time at all.

Our 3 hour sandboarding lessons take place at the Atlantis Dunes (Cape Town). Your Sandboarding Instructor will meet you at the dunes at a pre-arranged time. The ABC Sandboarding Lesson is easy to follow so as to ensure that your introduction to sandboarding is fun and safe. Your instructor will be with you at all times.

Surfing and Sandboarding Day Tour

Enjoy an adrenalin packed day learning how to surf on Cape Towns picturesque beaches and cruising down its magnificent dunes on a sandboard.

Explore the beautiful beaches around Cape Town and learn to surf under the expert guidance of our experienced instructors. Your instructor will pick you up (at about 09h30) and drop you off (at about 17h00) from where you are staying in one of our air conditioned vans.

We use the Surfing South Africa accredited ABC Surf Lesson to ensure that your introduction to surfing is fun and safe. Your instructor will be with you in the water at all times. Surf lessons include basic skills such as judging waves, rips and currents as well as general water safety.

After a healthy picnic style lunch and refreshments at the beach, we head out to the sand dunes. The Atlantis Dunes offer a multitude of different runs to cater for absolute beginners to experienced board riders ensuring a fun filled, memorable day for all.
